Boulder Group Rides

Every group ride you're looking for, all in one place! This map pulls upcoming rides from the most active cycling clubs in Boulder County and displays them on an interactive map.

Why this exists

Boulder's group ride scene is incredible. But finding out what's happening, when, and where has always meant hunting across a dozen club pages. This project puts it all in one place.

A backend process pulls the latest events from the Strava API twice a day (12 PM & 1 AM) and filters them down to rides that begin near Boulder. The data is always fresh and requires zero effort from the clubs themselves.

Rides from the following clubs are currently included. Want yours added? Open a GitHub issue and it'll be considered.

Some of these clubs are international. Only rides starting within ~30 miles of downtown Boulder are shown. Rides without a linked Strava route are also excluded.

How to use it

Days with rides are highlighted in the calendar at the top. Tap any day to load its routes onto the map.

On desktop: hover over a route to see the club's name, ride title, and start time. Click to open the Strava event.

On mobile: tap a route once to see its details, then tap again to open it in Strava.
